The motorized wheelchair is a backer reward item in Obduction that was put in the game for Justin "Jibjustin" Esparza, owner of Kahruvel Design and an Additional Design Backer. The model was created by Cyan after a short discussion with Justin. The wheelchair is a tribute to Janet Burress (“Pehpsee” in the Myst community) who died on 28 December 2004. Justin encountered Janet on Ubisoft's Myst forums and was the one to suggest spelling her forum moniker “Pepsi1953” in a more D’ni fashion to avoid Ubisoft’s rule against avatar names containing copyrighted product names. The motorized wheelchair is found in a shed in the Supply Yard.
