Walkthrough - Part 2[]
Once you are satisfied with exploring and ready to continue Look for the red beam of light shooting into the sky. Head towards it and you will find these two buildings.
There is also a blue beam firing down upon the entrance to the front yard. Don't worry about walking through it. The HDR lighting effect might make you blind for a second but it's actually completely harmless to you. Head into the building on the right.
You'll find a vault door inside with what seems to be a makeshift doorbell attached to the front. Ring the doorbell and wait for the window to open. You'll be greeted by C.W.
He'll be surprised to see a new face and after a little chit chat he asks you to help him out. He needs you to restore the power. After talking to C.W. head out the hole to the left onto a wooden walkway.
At the end of the walkway you will find an elevator powered by a simple water turbine under a small waterfall. Enter the elevator and activate it. At the top you have a few branching paths leading different directions. One path leads you to a door you cannot open.
Some stairs to the left of it leads you down to the device which is creating the red beam.
The last will lead you up on top of the Waterfall. Take the path up to the top of the water source.
Once at the the top, the path splits again. The left path leads to the edge of the dome where you are able to see the outer landscape.
We can't do anything here yet, so head down the path to the right. At the end you will find a bridge leading to a hatch with a lever. Cross the bridge and enjoy the view.
Pull the lever to open up the hatch and let the water flow. This irreversible act causes the water to be redirected down the other side of the mountain. Congrats! You earned your first achievement, Let it Flow.
This is useful for us to get into the next area but it also stunts the flow of water that was powering the elevator to move up.
We've done all we need to do up here so head back down the elevator. Later in the game we will find another way to return to that upper area.
Head back down the path, out the building, through the courtyard and hang a left towards the newly flowing river.
