The vase is a backer reward item in Obduction that was put in the game for Diana McCabe. Diana is a professional 2D artist with no experience in 3D design, but she wanted to fully create her item for the game. Her choice of a vase was influenced by (1) her inexperience (the vase is symmetrical, making it easier to model), and (2) her real-world collection of cobalt blue glass. She was surprised to find her item was placed in a central location, and she enjoyed walking by it many times as she crisscrossed through the Tower.[1] The vase is found in the Tower near the back door.
