The Humans one of the four species in Obduction, along with the Mofang, Villein, and Arai. They live in the Earth cell which they call Hunrath.

Apart from C.W., the one human Remainer in Hunrath, there are 71 more humans, including around 15 children, protected in cryogenic pods in the Silo of Maray. Their living arrangements before getting podded are not made clear in the game.

Activities[]

It is implied in the game that, among other, the humans of Hunrath have built the Wall, including the enclosure around the Tree, erected the Tower and formed its various inner levels, constructed the floodgate that diverts the water from the Waterfall, the Swing bridge, the Bleeder, the two sphere rotators, they have excavated Mineshaft, organized the Garden, the Scrapyard and Supply yard and have given a hand in many projects of C.W., like the battery, the overhead rails that connect his workshop with the Tree, etc. Also there are signs of household chores, both downton and along the river.

Human activity is also evident in the cell of Kaptar, where scaffolding, wooden boards and sheets of corrugated metal have been added to enable passage to some areas of the cell. Also the wooden structure that swaps with the Polyarch antechamber is a human construction.

For their entertainment, they have created the Tiki bar cave and the distillery next to it. During the gameplay, we find two card games and a backgammon board. Around and inside Farley's Community Center we find drawings and some toys of children. By the river we find a hammock, a small rowboat, fishing rods, a canvas with a painting.
