The Forest where the game starts on Earth
Earth is one of the worlds in Obduction. On the one hand, the game starts in the Forest, a place on Earth. The cell of Soria, has been swapped with the mining town of Hartnell, a place of the ex Arizona Territory (1863 - 1912). Reaching that cell, which was destroyed at the last phase of the Mofang War, there is a hill with two overlooks from which views of that area of the Earth can be seen. What is seen is a place destroyed by a nuclear weapon, with dark clouds hovering all over. The date of this happening cannot be estimated, as we learn that New Arrivers (one of which is the player) appear in Hunrath from a wide range of Earth dates.
